Follow These Steps:
Guys, I cannot say that I know anything about skincare, bbbbbut wait, don’t leave just yet. I was a teenager once and had cliche acne issues. Now, I am not hear to bash on any brands but I am simply here to share my experience with my own skin and what worked for me by hopefully fixing and answering someone else’s skin issue. When I was in 10-12th grade, I had minor acne on my forehead and some around my lower face line. This usually appeared around my monthly duties as a female and sometimes just because it wanted to ruin my life.
I began using the Proactive Original Skin Solution packet (3 step), I used to get my orders every month with all the steps 1,2,3, morning and night I would apply. Believe me when I say that these results were super powerful and magical in a teenagers life, my life. I saw results fast and furious (get what I did there? Paul, I miss you, you handsome hunk….). Although one slight issue emerged when I decided, okay well it is all gone now, I feel beautiful let’s just stop using it. Jesus lord!! I did not like what came after that. I began having acne twice as bad after and this time it was really out to get me. I used it for about 4-5 months and suffered double that.
I did not actually understand my skin until literally now…I am not stupid, I swear! I just simply did not know what it really means to take care of my skin, I feel like I still fully don’t. Although I read more about it now and my friend Anna constantly bugs me about moisturizing my dry face. I do, I do when I remember…just kidding I do, before I sleep. I should add morning and during the day, it is actually important 🙂
My steps to keeping my skin clean, moisturized, and acne free (except on feminine duty day, well that I cannot do much about now can I?) Keep in mind that after you pass your raging teenage hormonal stage, all this really just goes away, just a sign of hope for you crazy teens!
Crucial: Wash face after cleaning with a makeup wipe!
-
Clean face with a makeup remover of choice. I personally use the “Kirkland Signature Daily Facial Towelettes 150ct” 11.99$
-
Have some sort of face scrub around to take off the excess after using the towelettes. I use the Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula, 3.4 fl oz 21.00$
-
* Make sure that you have a specific towel for your face and not a general one in the restroom, this matters a lot. You do not want extra bacteria going around your face, specially when you are in a breakout stage. You want to keep it as calm and safe as possible *
-
Moisturizing and keeping your face hydrated is beauty 101! I use the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator, 1.7 oz 39.00$
-
last but not least, clean the dead skin off of your lips by using any brand of lip scrub. I have been using the “Popcorn Lip Scrub by LUSH 0.8oz” for about 1.5 years and I am very happy with it. Keep in mind that this is the only one I have ever tried but since I got comfortable, I stayed with it. 10.95$

Lastly, I apply my most favorite chapstick in “15. Cherry Me-Baby Lips by MAYBELLINE New York” 2.99$
