The list provided are just the items at the top of my head. I had help with deciding on the brands and some of the items I purchased from moms just so I don’t make any irrational decisions. I went with not just the looks/brands of things but also the comfort of both my baby and I. I think when it comes to a child the items need to be useful and not so much towards how pretty it could look in pictures. I still did my best to have a theme and purchase the best but only for comfort and non else. I have my GO-TO mom (Lucy) that always gives me the right advice and in my eyes she is a very special and highly trained mommy (she sounds like an FBI agent when I put it that way). I tend to go towards new moms meaning younger ones in regards to purchasing or handing kids as apposed to my mom or anyone within her age and older with some aspects just because they raised us at a different and difficult time. With the new moms, I think they are more aware and immune of the do’s and don’ts of now days, so that would be my first advice. I would get some comments on my diet from older women, such as “we ate raw meat, we ate all types of fish, we ate this and that” but what they don’t understand or are being grumpy to understand is times have changed and healthcare has progressed a tremendous amount so what they thought was okay back in the days is definitely not okay now. Sometimes it is hard to hear that and not say anything back, but remember one thing, no one will care for your baby’s well being as much as you (the mother). Do as you feel comfortable and ignore the rest. Advice given isn’t required to be put in action.
